The Tessendier family has been excelling in the art of distillation for generations. The latest project being brewed in their copper pipes
Arlett French Whisky: a vintage-styled brand that pays tribute to the 50s and to Jérôme and Lilian’s mother. And it’s the Tessendier brothers’ constant quest for taste to create new spirits that spurred the creation of this range of whiskies. Whiskies that make sense and that bring something actually new to the market.
Every step of the elaboration has been carefully considered, discussed, tested. From barley selection to the choice of barrels, the sum of these choices resulted in a whisky that is entirely true to Distillerie Tessendier’s style and philosophy. And because they brew, distill and age the entire production of Arlett, its quality is perfectly controlled.
The Tessendier distillery launched Arlett whisky out of pure passion for spirits, with the desire to pursue new challenges and embark on a new era of work.
We wanted to get out of our certainties and habits. While building on our what we know, we continue to innovate.
We didn’t just make a whisky, we made our own whisky. Arlett is the culmination of teamwork, the combination of passions and know-hows that contributed to creating its DNA. Brewer, distiller and cellar master, at each stage of its elaboration, have forged together the identity of this French spirit.
Our range offers beautiful aromatic power. We looked for a certain balance between taste intensity and strength of alcohol. This allowed us to create a range between 43% vol and 48% vol – both intense and generous.
